Albin 'Albi' Lew Hansen, 78, of Superior, died Monday, May 20, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Superior on December 18, 1945, the son of Harold E. and Edith (Koenen) Hansen. He graduated from Superior East High School with the class of 1964.

Albi met and married the love of his life Sharyn Cragin on February 21, 1970, and they celebrated 45 years of marriage until her death in 2015.

He worked many years for JR Jensen & Son. He was a member of the Laborer's Union Local 1050 & 1091.

Albi was affectionately known as the "official greeter and head of HR" at the 4 Corners Store. He loved to go fishing on Deer Lake in Danbury and was a cribbage and smear enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, woodworking, sawing lumber, and was a 'jack of all trades.' He was always willing to lend a hand and if you needed a part or something he would have it. He was also proud of side by side and enjoyed driving it everywhere, along with his Kubota Tractor, he used to pull the 4th of July float.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharyn; daughter, Traci Ann; son, Gregory Albin; parents, Edith P. and Harold E.; and a sister, Gloria Hansen.

Albi is survived by his children, Todd (Michaela Owens), Jamie "Jammer" (Deb) Hansen, and Raquel Hansen-Stockey; grandchildren, Matt, Chelsi (Nic), Alivia (Chase), Avah (John), brothers, Dave (Deb) Hansen and Cliff Hansen; his favorite Pam (Zeledon) all his "ladies", many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

We also want to give special thanks to Pam Zeledon, Cindy Barton, Kelly Treml and Katie Towery along with the Neighborly Nurses, LLC these wonderful people gave dad such exceptional care, allowing him to stay home with dignity.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 8th from 1:00 -3:00pm at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th Street, Superior. Interment will be at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.
