Alice Koehler, 97, a resident of Superior, Wis. since 1986, died Fri., Nov. 13, 2009 at St. Francis in the Park Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Alice was born in Brooklyn, N. Y. on Dec. 4, 1912, the daughter of Anna (Anderson) and Olaf Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Joseph Adamski; her second husband, George E. Koehler died on Apr. 23, 1997; two brothers; and two sisters.

Alice is survived by her step-children, Joseph E. Adamski of New York, Alan (Eileen) Koehler, Diane (Rick) Russell and Joe (Dinah) Koehler all of Florida.

Her funeral service will be held on Tues., Nov. 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. Rev. Mark A. Holmes, pastor of Darrow Road Wesleyan Church will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
