Alice M. Sundquist, 80, of Duluth, MN died Saturday April 2, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

She was born November 15, 1941, in Duluth, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Nelson) Hillman.

Alice was united in marriage to David Sundquist on May 5, 1961, in Clovis, NM.

She worked as a special education and second grade teacher in the Proctor School District for over 30 years.  Alice attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  She was a very charitable person and enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening, birds, sewing, knitting, cooking, and baking.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brother Charles.

Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, David, daughters, Karen (James) Severson of West Linn (Portland), OR, and Angela (Keith) Gustafson of Hermantown, MN, grandchildren, Dominick, Felicia, Sophia, Sonja, Morgan, Jaxon, Thor, and Leif; and sister, Susan (Bill) Gatewood of Duluth.

A celebration of her life will be held in the summer with family and friends at her home.
