Amy Christine Jodell, 37, of Superior, died suddenly Friday, April 8, 2016 at her residence.

She was born August 31, 1978, in Duluth, daughter of Charles and Tamara (Olson) Jodell.

Amy was an avid reader. She enjoyed reading and writing poetry. She also enjoyed cats and going to her parent's home for dinner and spending time with family.

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents, Noble and Florence Jodell; maternal grandfather, Gerald Olson; maternal step-grandfather, Gerald McDonald; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her parents, Charles and Tamara Jodell; sisters, Jennifer Jodell, Minneapolis, MN and Julie (Garrick) Allan, Superior; nephews, Joshua Jodell and Lucian Allan; maternal grandmother, Lois McDonald; maternal step-grandmother, Marilyn Olson; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her feline friend, Rajah.

A celebration of Amy's life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the Moose Lodge Family Center, 66 East 5th Street, Superior.
