Andrew "Andy" C. Berg, 39, lifelong area resident, died unexpectantly Thursday, July 1, 2021, at his residence.

He was born November 18, 1981, in Duluth, MN, son of Susan Androski and Cory Crist.

Andy worked as a roofer and painter in the Duluth Superior area.

Andy's greatest pleasures in life were his son, Zechariah and music.  He was a gifted guitar player and singer in various bands in the Twin Ports. He enjoyed hosting open mic at Beaner's Central and Bev's Juke Joint. He especially enjoyed sharing his music with his Beth Yeshua family.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Charles and Florence Berg and Orville and Marie Crist.

Survivors include his son, Zechariah Berg, 6; Zechariah's mother, Sara Smith, Duluth; mother, Susan Androski, Superior; father, Cory Crist, Superior; sisters, Katie Androski, Courtney Risley, Bethany Crist, and Paige Abrahamson; aunts, Roseanne Hoekstra, Deanna Glanville, Debra Kressin, Jennifer Madsen and Julie Brown; uncles, Dennis Farmer and Kevin Crist; and his family at Beth Yeshua Twin Ports.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July7, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
