Andrew “Roo” K. Kaufman, 52, of Superior, died Saturday July 18, 2026, in his home.

Roo was born in Superior on August 20, 1973, the son of Floyd and Lillian (Aho) Kaufman.

He had worked various jobs in the area, including bartending at Border’s Bar and Grill.

Roo was very active in Superior Men’s Pool league and Softball league. He also enjoyed golfing. Roo had a special way with kids and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Laura Kaufman; nephew, Codie Routley; brothers-in-law, Ed Routley, Tim Shofner, and Larry Gunnon.

Roo is survived by his siblings, Kim Routley, Pam Shofner, Lynne Gunnon, Fred (Greta) Kaufman, and Ted Kaufman; sister-in-law, Rae Backlund, several nieces and nephews; and his bonus family, Logan, Karly, and Kenzie.

A Celebration of Roo’s Life will be held on Monday July 27th from 4:00 until 7:00p.m. at Havana’s, 1623 Broadway Ave., Superior.
