SUPERIOR

Angela F. (Nelson) Lysdahl, 51, formerly of Superior, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Angela was born January 13, 1959 in Superior, daughter of John P. and Claudia J. (Wermter) Nelson.

Following her graduation from Cooper School, she worked at the Challenge Center from 1981 to 2006. She especially enjoyed working in the greenhouses with the tomatoes.

On June 2, 1989 in Superior, Angela F. Nelson and Charles E. Lysdahl were united in marriage.

Angela loved horses, her cat and dog, music, TV, talking on the telephone, playing bingo, the Green Bay Packers, and going on picnics.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents; father, John P. Nelson in 2008; and two uncles.

Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Lysdahl, Superior; mother, Claudia (Edward Javenkoski) Nelson, South Range; step-children, Nicholas and Benjamin Lysdahl; sister, Pamela K. (Shane Javenkoski) Nelson, South Range; brother, John P. (Jan) Nelson, Jr., South Range,; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until the 10 a.m. service, Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. The officiant will be James McCusker, lay minister of Darrow Road Wesleyan Church.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Law, David Wermter, Michael Beelby, Edward Javenkoski, Scott Javenkoski, Shane Javenkoski, John P. Nelson III, and Steve Larson.

Burial will be in the family lot at Parkview Cemetery, Hawthorne.
