Ann E. Armour, 94, of Superior, died Monday, December 24, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.
Ann was born on June 1, 1924 the daughter of Thomas and Katarina Fudally.
She married Robert E. Armour and they raised six children together. She was a tireless assistant to Bob's historical research on Superior, a subject on which he published 2 books.
She was a very talented artist and belonged to the Old Town Artist Group. She was an active member of Cathedral Church and had taught religious education. Ann had also served as an election official in Superior. Most important to her was her family and she was a beloved caregiver to many of her family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brothers, Joseph, John, Thomas; sisters, Mary, and Kay; brothers-in-law, Donald, and John 'Leo'; sister-in-law, Claire 'Sue'; and lifelong friend, Delores Zalabski.
Ann is survived by her children, Laura (James) Kremer of Superior, Claudia (Stan) Dahlberg of Superior, Charles (Patricia) Armour of Boulder City, NV, Maureen (Kim) Josephson of South Range, Patrick (Janice) Armour of Las Vegas, Richard (Therese) Armour of Luck, WI; 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Gerald Armour of Mequon, WI and Raymond Armour of Fountain Valley, CA; a cousin, Joan Tepoorten Jennrich, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Cathedral of Christ the King Church. Rev. Fr. Andrew P. Ricci as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
If desired, memorials in Ann's name may be made to Cathedral Church or Cathedral School.
Family would like to thank Dr. Timothy Kleinschmidt, St. Luke's ER Staff, and the wonderful staff at Villa Marina.
