Annette E. Mattson, 84, of Superior, died Saturday. May 25, 2019, at New Perspective Assisted Living, Superior.

She was born October 10, 1934, in Superior, daughter of Herbert and Esther (Anderson) Salen.

Annette enjoyed crafts, exercising at Senior Connections, bringing Holy Communion to those unable to attend church services, Welcome Wagon, and being with friends and family.

She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Superior.

Her work history included Jeno's, and home care.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Donald William Mattson in 2007; and daughter, Cheryl Mattson in 1976.

She is survived by her children, Jeff (Jodi) Mattson, Colorado Springs, CO, Darrell Mattson, Carolyn Buchanan, and Mike (Becky) Mattson, all of Superior; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Jennifer, Crystal, Nicholas, Aidan, Sidney and Tristan; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior. Pastor Will Mowchan will officiate.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Superior.
