Anthony S. "Tony" Herman, 31, of Superior, passed away at his home on Saturday Feb. 16th due to a drawn-out battle with PTSD.
Tony was born October 18, 1981 in Crookston, MN, son of Terrence and Marjorie (Holtz) Herman.
Right out of high school, Anthony served his country for over 3 years with the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge with the following medals: Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and two Purple Heart Medals.
Anthony enjoyed many past times including but not limited to hunting, camping, motorcycling and snowmobiling. He spent a lot of time with his family always trying to include them in his latest adventure. His children were his greatest pride in his life, although some lived across county they were always in his thoughts.
Anthony recently graduated from WITC with honors as a machinist.

Visitation will be from noon until the 1 p.m. service Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior.
Committal prayers will be at Veterans Memorial Park in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior, with military rites accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post # 435. The Patriot Guard will be in attendance.
