Arthur D. Johnson, 93, of Superior died Sunday, March 9, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family.

Arthur was born on June 5, 1931, in Evergreen Township, WI the son of Emmerd and Emma (Brisk) Johnson. He served his country with the US Army.

Art had worked many years as a carpenter for Lakehead Construction and was a member of the North Central States Carpenters Union Local #361.

He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and going camping. Art also loved taking long rides in the car, especially to Minong.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Patricia; second wife, Bertha; daughter, Denise Johnson; grandson, Derek Hallowell; granddaughter, Heather Johnson; and great grandson, Kaiden Johnson.

Art his survived by his children, Dale (Gail) Johnson, Ronald (Dawn) Johnson, Steve Johnson, Kim Hallowell, Deanne (Dave) Nindorf, Doreen (Terry) Stenger; stepson, Ronald Mann; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 15th from 11:00 a.m. until the Noon funeral service at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St., with Pastor Darrell Kyle as officiant.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Minong this Summer.
