Arthur J. Preo, 75, of Superior, died Thursday, March 28, 2019, at his home.

He was born in Chicago, IL, on May 19, 1943, the son of Norman and Adria Preo.

Art was a lifelong educator and taught at Duluth Elementary Schools.  He was an active member of Hope Congregational Church and enjoyed working out at the YMCA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, LouAnn; sister-in-law, Charlotte Preo; and mother and father-in-law, Arthur and Isabel Chamberlin.

Art is survived by his children, Peter (Sherry) Preo of Ramsey, MN, Paul (Beth) Preo of Superior, Lois (Brad) Jacobson of Duluth; grandchildren, Paula (Mike) Louiselle, Nicole and Payton Preo, Morgan, McKenzie, Tyler, and Annalise Jacobson; brothers, Bruce (Nancy) Preo of Roseville, IL, Frank (Pat) Preo of Elk Grove Village, IL, and Larry (Wendy) Preo of Layfatte, IN; and brother-in-law, Paul (JoAnne) Chamberlin.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 1, from 11:00 a.m. until the Noon funeral service at Hope Congregational Church, 1827 Wyoming Ave, with Pastor Jeremy Skaggs officiating.
