Barbara M. Cairns, 73, of Superior, died Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Essentia Health- St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

She was born in Taylorville, IL, on September 8, 1947, the daughter of Harrison and Dorothy (McCardle) Daniels.

Barb was a CNA at Hendrickson's Home Healthcare in South Dakota.  She was also a cashier at a grocery store and Dollar Tree.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, collecting candles, and going to Keyport for lunch.  Barb loved spending time with her family and many friends.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents; and great-granddaughter, Kali Reed.

She is survived by her husband, Milton 'Scott' Cairns; daughters, Barbara Dayton of Sioux Falls, SD, Alyce Dale of Akron, IN, and Crystal Dirks of Knox, IN; sons, Tedd Curry of Spearfish, SD, and Bradley Curry of Fairmont, MN; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Harrison Daniels of Edinburg, IL; sisters, Alice Newlin of Taylorville, IL, Annetta Daniels of Taylorville, IL, Arlene Graham of Taylorville, IL, and Cathy Robertson of Altamont, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon.
