Obituary

Barbara J. Graff, 75, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Barbara was born on April 23, 1951, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Dorothy (Davidson) and Adolph Carlson.

Barb worked in the bakery department at Walmart before becoming a cook at the Douglas County Jail, where she was employed for many years. She also worked as a bartender at the Choo-Choo Bar for several years.

In her spare time, Barb enjoyed sewing, quilting, and baking; she was known for her famous fudge, banana bread and chicken dumpling soup. Her greatest passion, however, was her family. Spending time with those she loved was most important to her, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment with them and was so proud of each and every one.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robbin Graff; her companion, Jerry Danielson; her brother, Tom Johnson, and her cousin, Rosemary Kuhn.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Perry and Laura (Bart Cooper) Homick; her stepchildren, Marty (Kelly) Graff, Joel (Rhonda) Graff, Jill (Craig) Robarge, Crystal Brown, Chris (Lori) Graff, Jennifer Graff, and Michael (Miriam) Graff; her immediate grandchildren, Robbin Wilson, Mary Wilson, Chase Holden (Art Holden), Braizee Tiesman (Morgan Tiesman), Mercedes Homick; great granddaughter, Adalynn Hill; along with several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Barb will be planned at a later date.

Barb will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
