Barbara Ann King passed away December 5 ^th , 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness.

Barb was a Superior native, but her heart belonged in Solon Springs where she enjoyed life at her parent's home, enjoying the summer sun, playing with her children in the lake, sliding fast down a snowy hill, and spending many leisurely hours on the back of her horse Kissda.

She was a strong voice for animal welfare and followed in her mother's footsteps to improve the lives of many rescue animals. That same passion for kindness extended to her friends and neighbors. She gave her family the gift of fierce loyalty and found great joy in raising her two sons. Her absolute adoration for her grandson will be remembered as the window to her true heart.

Barb was preceded in death by her infant son Jeremy Brew, her father Donald Wilson, and mother Judy (Delaware) Wilson.

She is survived by her sons Erik (Melissa) King, and Skye Cochrane, grandson Bryson King, brother Paul (Andrea) Moriarity and niece and nephew Analisse and Benjamin Moriarity, sister Elizabeth (Wilson) Otto and nieces and nephew Hannah, Andie Elizabeth, and Jared Otto. She left the care of her beloved dog Jurnee to her grandson to cherish, and have a soft, loving reminder of Grandma.

An intimate family gathering will be held in Barbara's honor, with a Celebration of Life arranged at a future date.
