Barbara A. Moe, 82, of Superior, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Golden Living Center, Superior.
She was born April 12, 1929 in Minot, North Dakota, daughter of Clarence and Mary Ellen (Mahoney) Gorman. The family moved to Superior when Barbara was a child.
Barbara had worked as a clerk for the Great Northern Railroad and various other businesses.
Her former memberships included Cathedral of Christ the King, St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Eagles Club.
She enjoyed camping and being with her niece, Colleen.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Norman Roeber, Chauncey Bangs and Melvin Moe; and step-sons, Eugene Moe and Michael Moe.
Survivors include her sons, John (Doris) Roeber, Tom (Joanne) Roeber and Chauncey (Jeanne) Bangs, all of Superior; step-sons, Ray (Marsha) Moe, Superior, and Richard Bangs, Illinois; step-daughters, Barb (Jeff) Skarp, Brit, Minnesota, Sandy Drinkwine, Superior, Judy Soderberg, Superior, Iris Johnson, Superior, Lanny Fahey, California, and Kathy Hunter, Superior; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Mary Ellen (John) Flaherty, Superior; and brother, Patrick Gorman, St. Paul, Minnesota.
Visitation will be from 3 until the 4 p.m. service, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, with Reverend Father Ronald Olson officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nina, Tom II, John, Jennifer, Michael, Lanse and Jacob.
Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior, at a later date.
Should friends desire, memorials in Barbara's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
