Barbara Lynn Smith, age 51, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

Barbara was born in Evergreen Park, IL on November 14, 1972.  She leaves behind her beloved dogs, Whisper and Fozzi; she was a loving sister to Lee (Jeremy) Nadolski, the late Doug, and late Derek; awesome aunt to AnaLee and Jeremy; cherished daughter of the late Sam and late Shirley Smith; and supportive significant other to Bruce Seamans. Barbara was a lover of all animals, especially her beloved late dogs, Kody, Stormy, Grissom, and Buddy.

Barbara was the caretaker of the family.  She selflessly would aid and comfort her family in our time of need.  She made us all laugh.  In the true Smith family tradition, she cheered for the Green Bay Packers. Go Pack Go!

Though she will be with those we have lost, she will be immensely missed by those who remain.

Following Barbara's wishes, no public services will be held.

Barbara was a dedicated dog mom to Huskies and German Shepards.  In her spare time, she visited the International Wolf Center in Ely, MN to check on the wolves she had adopted.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to charities that would support huskies or wolves.
