Barbara A. Sorenson, 85, a lifelong resident of Superior, WI, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Villa Marina in Superior.

Barbara was born on September 6, 1940, in Superior to parents, Harry and Evelyn (Olson) Baker. She graduated from Superior Central High School in 1958. On July 3, 1959, Barb married Harvey Sorenson at Concordia Lutheran Church in Superior, where she remained a lifelong member.

Barb enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time at the family cabin on Lake Amnicon. Her greatest joy was always her family and friends congregating at the lake.

She was employed as a school bus driver with the Superior School District for over 30 years and will be remembered for the special care and kindness she showed to the children on her bus throughout the years.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harvey.

She is survived by her children: Kathy (Jim) Beaulieu, Charles Sorenson, and Scott (Tracey) Sorenson; her grandchildren: Lindsey (Matt), Chelsea, Taylor, Gabriel, and Maxwell; her great-grandchildren: Bentley, Jaxson, Blakelynn, Brookston, Kyrie, and Malakai; and her cousin, Joan (Jan) Larsen.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N. 34th St., Superior, WI, with Gary Banker officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
