Barbara S. Stark, 82, of Lindstrom, MN, died Sunday, August 20, 2017, surrounded by family at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

She was born in Superior, WI on September 8, 1934, daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Bronson.

Barbara had worked at Larson's Grocery, the Douglas County Court House and raised 4 children.  She loved being a Grandma and all the kids called her Wowza. She also liked: to read, having coffee and conversation with friends, playing bingo, trips to the casino, her new IPAD offered hours of game playing and Facebook, where she kept in touch with family.   The Packers, Baseball, and QVC were her TV highlights.  Most of all, she loved the gatherings she would have with her family and friends

Her parents preceded her in death; Ray and Dorothy Bronson.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Michael Stark of Duluth, MN, Patrick (Karen) Stark of Superior, WI; daughters, Brenda Palm (Cordell) of Superior,  and Michele (Tim) Nordahl of Chisago City, MN ; grandchildren, Michael Stark Jr., Becky Stark, Stephen Palm, Natalie Nordahl, Nichole Johnston and Samantha McDonald; her great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Betty (Jim) Fisher and her brother, William (Sandra) Bronson; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her visitation will be on Saturday, September 23, from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior, WI.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
