Obituary

Barbara Jean Williams, 78, a lifetime resident of Superior, Wis. passed away Wed., Feb. 15, 2012 in St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth, Minn.

Barb was born Feb. 11, 1934 in Superior to Pauline (Pierskella) and Walter Richard Seacotte.

She was a 1952 graduate of Cathedral High School. On Nov. 7, 1953 she was united in marriage to John Williams in Cathedral Of Christ The King of which she was a member.

For 22 years she was an employee at National Bank of Commerce, retiring in 1999.

Throughout her life she enjoyed fishing, camping and snowmobiling. In her later years she enjoyed routine visits to Black Bear Casino to play Bingo.

Barb was preceded in death by her Father on Sept. 25, 1984 and her Mother on June 9, 1997.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, John of 59 years; a brother, Wally (Debbie) Seacotte of Appleton, Wis., five children, Steve (Laura) Williams of Menasha, Wis., Julie LeBard of Superior, Tim (Sherri) Williams of New Weston, Ohio, Tom of Oshkosh, Wis. and John (Cathy) Williams of Waconia, Minn.; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be Sunday in Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. & 19th St., from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday in Cathedral Of Christ The King from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass Of Christian Burial. Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci, Rector will be the celebrant. Committal prayers will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
