Berl “Ed” Stokes, 66 of Superior, WI passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Ed was born October 21, 1959, in Hayti, MO. He was employed as the owner/operator of a E.T. Construction Company for many years. Ed enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening, he was passionate about his kids and grandchildren he dearly loved every one of them.

Ed is survived by his life partner, Rose Brown; her children, Jeremy (Jennifer Dourte) Brown, Angela (Jonathan) Green, Patricia (Kip) Tolzmann, Amanda (Nathan Hawkenson) Brown; his daughters, Christine Sundeen, Tiffany Ripley, and Misty Asbury; their grandchildren, Justin, Colt, Andrew (Macie) and Taylor (Sophia), Erica (Zach), Joshua, Xen (Christian), and Savannah (Cody); great granddaughters, Dahlia, Rayna, and Leo.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Anna Gene County Park, 6100 E. Lyman Lake Road, South Range, WI.
