Bernice M. Erickson, 99, of Superior, went to be with her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center, Superior.

She was born September 20, 1919, in Superior, daughter of Agnes (Nelson) and David Erickson, Sr.

Bernice was a member of the former Ogden Avenue Baptist Church, where she was converted and baptized, and Bayside Baptist Church, Superior.

Some of her interests included reading, crossword puzzles, music, playing the piano and singing.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, David Erickson, Jr.; and sister, Ina Anderson.

Survivors include her nieces, Julie (Dennis) Wedan, Maple, WI, Bonnie (Tom) Hegman, Princeton, MN, and Debra (James) Benefil, Brown Deer, WI; nephew, David (Diana) Erickson, III, Whittier, CA; and special friend, Bonnie Peterson, Superior.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior, with Reverend Mark Holmes officiating.

Burial will be in the family lot at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
