Bernice C. Rae's Obituary
Bernice C. Rae, 95, of Superior, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
She was born January 12, 1918 in Superior, daughter of Martin and Mary (Larson) Strong.
Bernice enjoyed traveling and family picnics.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Rae; granddaughter, Linda Johnston; grandson, David Johnston; and sisters, Madeline Swanson and Marguerite Wilson.
Survivors include her sons, William and Steven Rae, both of Superior; daughter, Lois (Gerald) Johnston, Superior; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Private services were held Monday, August 5, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Reverend Father Andrew Ricci officiated.
Interment was held at Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
