Bernice B. Seim, 85, lifelong resident of Superior, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Superior on August 25, 1933, the daughter of Melvin and Bernice Eskelson.

Bernice enjoyed living on the farm and was a hard worker her whole life. She was a former member of St. Williams Catholic Church and also enjoyed flower gardening, reading, doing puzzles, and mowing lawns.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert M. Seim, Sr.; son, David Seim; and four siblings.

Bernice is survived by her son, Robert (Rose) Seim, Jr. of South Range; daughter, Kathleen Seim of Lansing, MI; grandchildren, Michael Seim, Tonya (Nathan) Johnstad; Jefferson (Nikki) Selleck, Dyan (Juan) Sanchez, Robert VanDyke, Cherie (Robert) Savageau and 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Violet Ciciora of Chicago, IL; a brother, Richard (Irene) Eskelson of Superior; cousins, Irene Hoag and Pauline Leikvoll; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday July 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery.
