Obituary

Betty Lou Landela, 88, a longtime resident of Superior, Wis. died Wed., Oct. 23, 2013 at the Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Dec. 23, 1924 in Grand Rapids, Minn., daughter of Theodore and Josephine (Elliason) Arnberg.

Betty was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed making crafts with her Husband, being with family playing cards and hosting family celebrations. She enjoyed being part of the "back pew women" and was an avid Packer fan.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Sulo E. on Nov. 28, 1992; sisters, Genevieve Koivisto, Agnes Ludenia and Deloris Bauer; a brother, Clyde Arnberg; and two grandsons.

Survivors include her daughters, Jane (David) Herstad of Carlton, Minn., Jo (Randy) Rehnstrand of Grand Rapids, Minn., Jacqueline (Dave) Ellis of Buffalo, Minn., Julie Ann (Tim) O'Neill of South Range, Wis., and Jill (Charlie) Haworth of Superior; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 more great-grandchildren expected; and her special friends, Ida Mae, Rhoda and Louise.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Mon., Oct. 28, 2013 at United Presbyterian Church, 229 N. 28th Street, Superior. Rev. Joel Huenemann will officiate.

Committal prayers will be at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
