Beverly M. Mackyol, 86 of Superior, died Saturday, Saturday January 8, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Beverly was born in Superior on May 11, 1924, the daughter of Norman and Mildred (Gunderson) Kemp.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Miriam Eimon.

She is survived by her husband Robert, one son, Brian (Sandra) Mackyol of Watertown, Wisconsin and two grandchildren, Kecia and Alex and many loving nieces and nephews.

A devoted wife and mother, Beverly worked for a number of years at Cohen's clothing store in South Superior and as a bookkeeper with her husband Robert at their family business. One her great joys was to work with the local Foster Grandparent program at Four Corners School. She enjoyed knitting and baking, watching football and golf and spending time with friends and relatives. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Bethel Lutheran Church Women, Silver Leaf Rebecca Lodge and a lifetime member of the DAV Auxiliary.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 in Bethel Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary Garnatz officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be Greenwood Cemetery.
