Beverly "Jean" Sellers, 92, of Superior, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital with her family by her side.

Jean was born on April 22, 1933, in Washburn, Wisconsin, to Gladys B. (Jones) and A. Bernard "Baron" Johnson. She was raised in the town of Cornucopia, Wisconsin.

She attended St. Luke's School of Nursing and went on to work as an Operating Room supervisor. It was there that she met her husband of 63 years, Dr. Robert Sellers.

Jean loved spending time with her family and was actively involved in her community. She enjoyed skiing, golfing, gardening, and knitting, among many other hobbies. She was a longtime member of the PEO sisterhood and Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Jean was a devoted and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Shirley Neustal and Betty Knutson; and her brother, Lee Johnson.

Jean is survived by her husband, Robert; her son, Robert (Wendy) Sellers Jr. of Kasson, Minnesota; her daughters, Jane Sellers of Crestone, Colorado, and Mary (Robert) Steele of Golden, Colorado; her grandchildren, Allison, Taylor, Nora, and Charlie; her twin sister, Joan Rhude of Hibbing, Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at St. Luke's Hospital for their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Life/Memorial Service, with a luncheon following the service on Friday June 5, 2026, at Pilgram Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap St., Superior, WI.
