Bonnie Kay (Bean) Peterson, 86, passed away on February 23, 2026, at St. Benedictine Marywood in Duluth, Minnesota, from dementia related illnesses.

She was born June 9, 1939, in Superior, WI to Mildred and Howard Bean.

Bonnie was a good neighbor with beautiful perennial gardens, friendly conversations, fresh baked goods, and doggy treats that were anticipated and welcomed by those who past her homestead. She was altruistic with a humble and generous heart. Bonnie's faith was very important to her, she meditated on the scriptures and lived her faith.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings and a grandchild, Abraham Clark.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William; her beloved sister, Bette Krivinchuk; her five children, Julie (Dave) Scherzer, Daniel (Dawne) Peterson, Scott (Carrie) Peterson, Jennifer Clark, and Stuart (Vanessa) Peterson; her nine grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at First Evangelical Covenant Church, 3311 Hammond Avenue, Superior, WI., with Chaplain Gary Meller officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
