Bronislaus "Ben" M Lugowski's Obituary
Bronislaus Mathew "Ben" Lugowski, age 85 of Pensacola, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at his home with his wife at his side.
He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He was a retired veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy, Superior Wisconsin National Guard, later entered in the U.S. Coast Guard, retiring as a Chief with 30 years of service. He then entered The Superior Wisconsin Police Force for 32 years retiring as a Lieutenant.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Ann Gulbrandson; two sisters, Stella Lugowski and Agnes Galik and three brothers, Peter, Raymond and Sigmund Lugowski.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Meredith Lugowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, at Cathedral of Christ the King with Rev. Fr Andrew Ricci as Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
