Calvin "Cal" C. Haworth, 90, of Hawthorne, died Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hawthorne.
Calvin was born March 14, 1925, son of Sampie and Jessie (Carlin) Haworth.
During the 1940's, Cal served in both the Merchant Marines and Army.
He worked over 35 years as a carman with the CNW railroad. He enjoyed hobby farming, camping, fishing, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; parents-in-law, Glen and Clover Miller; brothers-in-law, Ray Miller, Herbert Johnson and Gordon Wallin; sister-in-law, Jeanette Haworth; and nephew, Glen Wallin.
Survivors include his wife of over 66 years, Audrey (Miller) Haworth; children, Susan Heizman, Carlene and Bob Yost, Scott and Cheryl Haworth, and Charles and Jill Haworth; grandchildren and families, Shannon and George Snyder and Gia, Ryan and Missy Haworth, Michael and Jasmine, Emily, Peyton and Brady, Eric and Kristen Heizman, and Eleanor, Karen Heizman, Alan and Lori Heizman, Beth and Eric Boreboom, Jaden, Clara and Aniah, Carla and Nathan Borsted, Rebecca, Talitha and Moriah, Nathanial Haworth and Miah Haworth; former son-in-law, Al Heizman; brother, Lowell Haworth and family; sisters-in-law, Clover Johnson and Dorene Miller; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bruce and Beverly Miller; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until the 1 p.m. service, Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Whispering Pines Church, 7532 S. County Road E, Hawthorne, WI.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harbor House Crisis, 5822 Ogden Avenue, Superior, or Whispering Pines Church.
The family would like to thank Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care and compassion given to Cal and family the past 2 ½ years.
