Carla M. Marion, 72, of Superior, died Saturday May 2, 2026, at Villa Marina Health Services.

Carla was born in Superior on July 27, 1953, the daughter of Carl and Elise (Van Vynckt) Marion. She graduated from Superior Senior High School with the class of 1971.

Carla’s favorite thing to do was work. She had worked at various establishments in the Superior area and most recently worked at Walmart.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting. Carla enjoyed spending time at their camper at Nelson Lake Lodge in Hayward. She loved to watch old movies and shows, especially Gunsmoke and The Andy Griffith Show. She was a member of the United Commercial Travelers of America. She attended Cathedral School and was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Elise; son, Jason Bennett; and brother, Carl (Skip) Marion.

Carla is survived by her son, Nathan Bennett; sister, Brenda (Jerry) Wiisanen; grandchildren, Lakota and Brandi Bennett; great-grandchild, Milo; nephews, Brian Rusk and Chad Marion, nieces, Jodie Metz, Stacy Lowney and Cheryl Besst, sister-in-law Myra Marion, several cousins and many wonderful co-workers from Superior Walmart.

A celebration of Carla’s Life will be held on Friday, June 19th 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St., Superior. Private family interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
