Carol (Adams) Anderson, 90 of Lake Nebagamon, WI passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 unexpectedly.

Carol came as a gift to us on Christmas Day in 1933, the daughter of Velita and Fred Adams.

While she held many careers in her lifetime, she was most recently employed for the Clerk of Court with Douglas County until her retirement in 1999. Carol was a very independent woman, that worked very hard to support herself and her family. She was a dedicated Green Bay Packer fan, a passion she shared with her granddaughter. Carol will be remembered for her love of her family and being a devoted mother right until the end. She was always a phone call away. Carol spent fifteen plus years of her life as a foster parent, receiving the Superior Jaycees' 1998 Humanitarian award for helping over 70 children feel loved and cared for.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Rupert Mulchaey; her daughter, Suzanne "Susie" Anderson; her son, Thomas Anderson; her sister, Mary Jo Wrenn, and her son-in-law, Mark Kusnierek.

She is survived by her children, Lori Kusnierek and Scott Anderson; her daughter-in-law, Adrienne Anderson; her significant other, Richard Malinowski; her grandchildren, Ryan (Bonita) Anderson, Dennis (Misty) McDonald, Jennifer (Erick) Fronden, Sean (Rihanna) McDonald, Kaylyn (Ian) Mattson, and Tyler Anderson; 14 great grandchildren; her brother, Donald (Mary Jean) Mulchaey, and her sister, Kathy (Kevin) Astley. Along with special extended family and friends.

Carol left us on Thanksgiving as a reminder of what we will forever be thankful for.

A private family burial 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2025.  A celebration of life will be 11:15-1:30 p.m. Sunday June 8, 2025 at Vintage Italian Pizza, 1201 Tower Ave., Superior, WI.
