Carol A. (Christmas) Sobiech, 82, of Superior, died Saturday, December 16, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Superior.

She was born March 17, 1935, in Superior, daughter of Cecil and Grace (Bjornson) Christmas.

Carol worked many years as a clerk at Prange Way, Superior.

She was a member of the Superior Red Hats and the water aerobics class at the Superior YMCA.  She also enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her family.

Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Aloysius "Al" Sobiech in 2006; and sister, Merry.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra (James Benefil), Brown Deer, WI, and Merry (Jay Hansen), Superior; sons, David (Diana) Erickson, Whittier, CA, and Jon Sobiech, Tulsa, OK; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Joy Weiler, Duluth; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will held at noon, Friday, June 8, 2018 at Graceland Cemetery, Superior.
