Carol J. Clark, 74, of Superior, died Friday, June 5, 2020, under hospice care at her home surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born October 29, 1945 in Superior, daughter of Toivo and Lillian (Hendrickson) Hoffren.

Her work history was banking. She started at First National Bank in Superior, and after 47 years, retired in 2010 from M & I Bank as a personal banker.

Carol was a member of the Nemadji Women's Golf League and the Elks.

In addition to golf, she enjoyed attending concerts, playing bingo in Florida, watching football and golf on TV, Mexican train dominoes, traveling, casinos, entertaining, and playing games on her iPad. Carol was a very friendly, giving and never complaining person.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Toivo and Lillian Hoffren; and husband, Kenneth R. Clark in 2016.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Legard, Dayton, MN; son, Michael Legard, Dresser, WI; step-sons, Jon (Renee) Clark, Blaine, MN, Andrew Clark, Superior, and Peter (Jennifer) Clark, Superior; grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Greta and Lily Clark; sister, Rosanne Hoffren, Superior and Phoenix; and numerous wonderful friends.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Billings Park Civic Center, Superior.
