Carolyn Noren, 86 of Superior, WI passed away on May 24, 2022.  Carolyn was born January 20, 1936, in Bennett, WI to Kenneth and Mildred Plucar.

Carolyn graduated from St. Croix High School in 1953, she attended Superior Vocational School.  She worked at the vocational school and then at Superior Memorial Hospital for 28 years in the business office.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Nelson; her second husband, Marvin Noren; son Phillip Nelson; brothers, Kermit, and Vernon Plucar; sister, Audrey Huray; nephew, Mitch Plucar; niece, Karla Ray Kennedy; her parents and grandparents.

Survivors include her daughters, Paula Nelson, and Julie Nelson; stepdaughters, Shari (Marv) Conyers, Penny (Joe) Ross, Sandy (Sam) Scott; sister, Muriel Larson; brother, Howard (Marilynn) Plucar; sister in-law, Sharon Plucar; brother in-law, John Huray; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Superior Rehabilitation Center and St. Luke's Hospice.

The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Hope Congregational Church, with Rev. Jeremy Skaggs as officiant, 1827 Wyoming Ave., Superior.  Visitation will from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service.

Interment will be in Lake Nebagamon Cemetery.
