Catherine Ann 'Kate' Sclavi, passed away suddenly August 13, 2017 in her home, of natural causes.

Kate was born January 30, 1953 in Superior, WI to James and Donna (McGillis) Engberg.

She enjoyed walking her dogs, gardening, sewing, reading, and spending time at the lake.

Kate is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Marc Makela of Lake Nebagamon, WI and their children, Halie (Nathan Van Meter) and Jake; her son, Joe (Amanda Olson) Sclavi of Maple, WI and Joe's daughters, Carmen and Ella; her sisters, Janice Engberg, Mary Walters, Susan Dorgan and brother, Larry Engberg and their families; and Tex, her faithful canine companion. She will also be remembered by her extended family and valued friends.

Kate was preceded in death by her parents and her special mother-in-law, Jean Sclavi.

The family will have a gathering to celebrate Kate's life on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 1-4p.m. at her home, 11269 E Timber Ridge Drive, Lake Nebagamon, WI 54849.
