Obituary

Cecilia E. Grymala, a former Pattison Park resident passed away peacefully on October 30, 2013 surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Golden Living Center.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael "Blackie" Grymala and other numerous family and friends, including Darleen Rae Hudacek.

She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Daniel M. (Jan) Grymala and John P. Grymala; a daughter, Mary Ann M. Grymala; a brother, Edward P. Teske; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her many "favorite" nieces and nephews; her beloved pet, Sally G. Grymala; and all her caregivers including, Watty; her "blue eyed angel", Jenny; Jennifer, her longtime roommate, Miram and daughter, Nancy; and others who are remembered for their love, professional care and the kindness shown Cecilia.

Cecilia attended school in Superior. She was a true professional homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandma.

Her creative and artistic ability was second to none. We joked that even when she made toast, it was gourmet. Cecilia loved creating costumes, afghans and wonderful meals.

She had the most wonderful sense of humor. Her loving and caring ways touched the people she met either briefly or long term.

The Memorial Mass will be on Sat., Nov. 9th in St. William's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Ronald Olson as Celebrant. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the Mass. The committal prayers will take place in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery.

Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. & 19th St., is assisting the family with arrangements.
