Chadd Christopher Nelson, 50, of South Range, WI, passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side on Friday, June 10, 2022.

He was born on December 31, 1971, to Gary and Linda (Ledeboer) Nelson.

Chadd was employed with BNSF Railway for 30 years, beginning his career in 1992. During this time, he received many recognitions for his hard work and dedication to his job. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed woodworking, remodeling his home, and working in the yard. Chadd always had a project going, working on a vehicle, or helping a friend.

He loved to spend time with his family and friends, whether it was hanging out in his shop with his son, going on trips with his family, or riding ATVs in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter. Chadd will be remembered for his hardworking ethics, his never-ending sense of humor, his never-quit spirit, and the amount of love he had for his two children. He would never quit on a project until it was perfect. He fought hard and battled to the end.

Chadd is survived by his children, Makensie (fiancé Jared Church) Nelson and Christopher Nelson; his parents, Gary and Linda Nelson; his siblings, Todd Nelson, and Stacy Nelson; his niece, Emma Nelson, and his significant other, Amy Mundt.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 S. 4 ^th Avenue, Anoka, MN.
