Charlene Faye Tyson, 89, of Superior passed away peacefully Monday September 29, 2025, at Solvay Hospice House surrounded by her family.

Charlene was born in Superior on February 20, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Esther (Hawkinson) Erickson.

She loved playing bingo, watching the game show network, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, her daughter Tracy and grandson Ryan.

She is survived by her children, Terry Tyson, Leslye (Mark) Trettel, and Lisa (Mark) Pierson; her grandchildren, Travis (Amy) Tyson, Trenton (Jackie) Mizinski, Miranda Galliford, Cassandra (Dustin) Mizinski and William Cohen; her great grandchildren, Vincent, Ezra, Adelynn, Dalton, and Luis.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
