Charles S. Anderson's Obituary
Charles S. "Chuck" "Shorty" Anderson, 92, a longtime Superior, Wis. area resident died Wed., Dec. 18th, 2013 in the Middle River Health & Rehab. Center.
He was born Feb. 3, 1921 in Chetek, Wis. to Mary (Snider) and Selder Anderson.
Chuck was a self-employed dairy farmer. He also worked in construction and was a well-known driver for area trucking firms.
Survivors include four sisters, Ramona Verdoljak, Avis (Carl) Winek and Patsy (Neil) Lagro all of Superior and Charleen Thompson of Hammond, Ind.; a brother, James Anderson of Superior; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Treva McNaughton and Joyce Waters; and four brothers, Newell, Douglas "Buddy", Harold "Buck", and Harley "Ole" Anderson.
His memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Mon., Dec. 23rd in Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. & 19th St. A time of visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service.
