Obituary

Chester 'Chet' A. Budreau II, 87, of Superior, died Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth

Chet was born in Rhinelander, WI on June 18, 1932 the son of Margaret and Chester Budreau, Sr. He attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He owned and operated Budreau's Major Appliance. He was a hard worker who loved his business and his customers.

He was a devout Catholic and member of Cathedral Church and he loved God. He was very athletic and enjoyed skiing, ice skating, and was a top tennis star. He was a woodsman and loved animals. He would take in all kinds of animals including birds and his pet skunk, Kitty Flower.

Chet was a very kind and loving man with a gentle spirit. He was a social butterfly. He was an amazing father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Charles Budreau.

Chet is survived by his children, Jacinta (Bill) Bailey, Susan (Dan) Donis, Craig (Brenda) Budreau, Stacy Golding, Lorna (Jeff) Jung, Chet Budreau III, Shane Budreau, Shannon  Budreau, Shawn Budreau, Brandon Budreau, Tara (Joshua) Grams, Jesse Budreau and Brett Budreau; a sister, Joan (Bruce) Frasier; and many many grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 17 th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Cathedral of Christ the King Church with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hawthorne.
