Christopher M. Rydberg, 43, of Lake Nebagamon, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Chris was born in Rawlins, WY on June 23, 1981, the son of Steven and Marion (Boss) Rydberg.

Chris graduated from Superior Senior High School with the class of 1999 and went on to earn his associate's degree in criminal justice from Northwood Tech (formerly WITC). Chris completed his apprenticeship and worked for many years as a pipefitter for UA Local No. 11.

He married Sara Nolan on July 15, 2006, and they celebrated 18 years of marriage.

Chris loved everything outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed camping. Most important to him was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Steve; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Avis Boss; paternal grandfather, Charles 'Neal' Rydberg; and cousin, Shawn Dietrich.

Chris is survived by his wife, Sara; children, Shawn & Lilly; mom, Marion Rydberg; brother, Jeremy (Carrie) Rydberg; grandmother, Maxine Rydberg; mother-in-law, Jeanne Nolan; father-in-law, Mike Nolan, brothers-in-law, Tim (Emily) Nolan and Josh (Anna) Nolan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th from 10:00 a.m. until the Noon memorial service at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St., Superior.
