Cindy L. Bennett, 62, of Superior, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her residence.

Cindy was born in Superior on May 15, 1958 the daughter of Betty (Karlson) and James Peterson.

She married Robert Bennett, Jr. on June 30, 1979 and they celebrated 35 years of marriage until his passing in 2014.

Cindy had worked at Essentia-St. Mary's and Miller Dwan for over 40 years. Most recently she worked on the Med Surgical Floor. She loved and enjoyed being with her work family.

She enjoyed crocheting, riding her bike, and baking. She loved being with her boys and spending time with her grandchildren.

Cindy touched many lives and always put everyone before herself.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; niece, Stephanie Zaharik; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert & Dolores Bennett, Sr.

Cindy is survived by her sons, Anthony and Tyler Bennett of Superior; grandchildren, Kayla, Lilly Anna, Jayden, Akaiya, and Alexia; sisters, Jeanne (Gord) Zaharik, Debbie (Dave) Christensen, Vicky Peterson, Jackie (Fred) Trettin; brother, Jim (Terri) Peterson; sisters-in-law Patty (Jim) Cahill and Kathy Woodhull; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday October 8 ^th from 10:00 a.m. until the Noon funeral service at the Billings Park Civic Center. Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
