Clarence “Trigger” E. Carlson, 79, of Superior, died at home on Friday, June 5, 2026.

He was born in Superior on September 30, 1946, to William and Hazel (DeBrock) Carlson.

He graduated from Superior East High School in 1964 and worked for many years as a carpenter and millwright with the local union.

He married Donna Layman on September 3, 1975, and they celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Trigger loved hunting, fishing and going to garage sales.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, William (Darlene) Carlson and Glen (Barbara) Carlson.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Heather (Damian) Bjerketvedt and Jamie Carlson; grandchildren, Natilee (Austin Scott) Carlson, Maxine Carlson, and Nadia and Natasha Bjerketvedt; great granddaughter, Adeline; brother Garry (Gail) Carlson; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Private family services will be held.
