Obituary

Clyde "Butch" E. Holsclaw, 77, of Iron River, died Monday, April 6, 2020 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Range.

He was born December 30, 1942 in Superior, son of Frank and Ethel (Scott) Holsclaw.

Butch worked many years as a millwright for CLM Corporation, Superior.

He enjoyed baseball and for 12 years he coached Little League baseball. Some other interests were fishing, hunting, playing cribbage, working in his woodworking shop, making maple syrup, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and attending his grandkids' sporting events. His greatest love was spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Todd; brother, John; and sisters, Bernice and Claudia.

Survivors include his wife, Noreen; children, Terry (Cinnamon) Holsclaw, Monroe, Utah, Jeff (Kim) Holsclaw, St. Croix Falls, WI, Melissa (Ryan) DeMuth, Esko, MN, Michelle (Rick) Manor, Wascott, WI, Cory (Leah) Holsclaw, Iron River, WI, and Andy (Sarah) Holsclaw, Hawthorne, WI; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Frances (Joe) Brice, Superior; and several nieces and nephews.

Butch's memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Mission Covenant Church, 5161 S County Rd P, Poplar.  Visitation one hour prior.  Burial will follow in Iron River City Cemetery.
