Craig Richard Seacotte, 45, beloved son of Mary Cochrane and brother of Shelley (Mo Harris) Seacotte, died too early in life on January 16 th , 2017, in Minneapolis, MN.
Craig was born in Superior, WI on August 17, 1971, where he was raised. He relocated to Minneapolis, MN, to attend college and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication, Journalism, and Art History from the University of Minnesota.
His first professional job was at the Walker Art Museum in Minneapolis, a job he truly loved. He was later employed as a manger by Health Partners and United Health Group. For the past ten years, Craig worked for Target Corporation, where most recently he served as a program manager in the Corporate Social Responsibility and Wellness Initiatives area. Craig was a great ambassador for the Arts and served as a board member at the Soo Visual Arts Center and Minneapolis Public Arts Commission for many years.
Preceding him in death was his father, Richard Seacotte in 2013.
Craig is survived by his mother, Mary and sister, Shelley (Mo Harris) of Colorado; nieces, Kennedy and Peyton; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. He was an exceptional man who will be dearly missed by all.
A visitation will begin at 10 until the 11 a.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior. Reverend Father Andrew Ricci will be the celebrant. Lunch will follow Mass in the parish hall.
