Curtis L. Parsons, 58, of Superior, died Monday February 24, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by family.

He was born March 2, 1961 in California, son of Daniel and Betty (Hunter) Parsons.

Curtis worked for the city of Superior public works department, WalMart, Twin Ports Testing and Potswald Distributing.

On August 9, 1985 in Hiawatha, Iowa, Cindy Yadon and Curtis Parsons were united in marriage.

Some of his interests included fishing, camping, hunting, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, playing video games, riding his Harley Davidson, and loving his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Dalene Jo; and brother, Brian.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy; children, Jeff Yadon, Denver, CO, William (Hope) Parsons, Superior, and Jessica (Brandon) VanHolbeck, Superior; grandchildren, Dylan, Kelsie, and Kourtnie Parsons, and Corbin and Logan VanHolbeck; brother-in-law, Gary Kittelson, Superior; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior, with pastor Jenny Armstrong officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior, at a later date.
