Dale E. Peters' Obituary
Dale E. Peters, 67, of Superior, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at his residence.
Dale was born in Superior on November 8, 1943 the son of Helen (Brew) and Arthur Peters.
He served his country in the Army and had worked for Superior Water Light and Power.
Dale enjoyed watching sports and he went to any sporting event in the area he could. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and he loved to go fishing, especially on the Brule River.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister, Richard Peters, Lois Hanson and James Peters; and niece and nephew, Linda Reimers and David Peterson.
Dale is survived by his sister, Nancy Peterson of Superior; a sister-in-law, Ann Peters of Superior; nieces and nephews, Sue and Roger Stalvig of Superior, Tammy and Jeff Nelson of Superior, Scott Peterson of Denver, Rob and Laura Peterson of Denver and Jim and Cheryl Harkabus of Superior.
His funeral service will be held on Sat. Jan. 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th Street and Ogden Ave., with Rev. Alan Schroeder of Calvary Baptist Church as officiant. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
