Daniel Joseph Dulinski, age 78, of Lake Nebagamon, passed away on Thursday October 15, 2026, at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth.
He was born April 11, 1948, in Duluth to Louise (Rust) and Charles Dulinski. Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Darlene Irene (Overfors) Dulinski, who passed away in 2024. The couple met at age 14 while roller skating, were married on August 17, 1968, and made their home in Lake Nebagamon, WI, for nearly 50 years.
Daniel proudly served in the Army National Guard. Throughout his career, he worked at Arrow Chevrolet and Llyod Currie and Sons. Dan had a lifelong passion for classic automobiles and vintage tractors. An avid collector, he enjoyed buying and selling old cars and spent many years attending car shows and swap meets, selling vintage automobile parts and visiting with fellow enthusiasts. Dan could often be found puttering around the house, always finding something to fix or tinker with. There wasn’t a tool he didn’t own, and he always seemed to have the right one for any project. He also enjoyed nature and the wildlife around his Lake Nebagamon home.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
Daniel is survived by his children, Darrel (Sue Medved) Dulinski of Superior, Danelle (Jesse) Roberts of Superior and Darcy (Art) Anderson of Big Lake, MN; grandchildren, Holden, Hunter, Abi and Audrey; sisters Linda, Darlene and Jenny; also, by his brother Steven.
Visitation will be on Friday October 23rd from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11416 E 1st St., Lake Nebagamon, with Pastor Katie Wagner as officiant. Military honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post 435 following the service.
Memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church, Lake Nebagamon.
