Daniel "Dan" R. Larsen, 57, of Bennett, died Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born April 11, 1962 in Superior, son of Gene and Marge (Lyons) Larsen.

On August 2, 1980 in Superior, Kathy K. Chiles and Daniel R. Larsen were united in marriage.

Dan was a lifelong musician and was an accomplished Bass guitarist. Music was his life and he was lead singer in many of his own bands since the age of 12.  Best known as the Mustangs.

Some of his other interests included working in his yard, building birdhouses, spending time with his dogs, long walks and long drives, and lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ronald "Jerry" Larsen.

Survivors include his wife of over 39 years, Kathy; daughter, Tanya Larsen, Superior; son Dan "D.J." (Tiffany) Larsen, Madison, WI; grandchildren, Jaeden, Rozlynn, Hunter and Alex; 3  brothers, Mike Larsen, Superior, Richard (JeanAnne) Larsen, Superior, and Robert (Donna) Larsen, Lake Nebagamon; sister, Marci (Brad) Maxwell, Ellsworth, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from noon until the 1:00 p.m. service, Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior, with Christopher Kimmes officiating.
